Teen bedroom decorating inspiration

Oh sweet bedroom!

When I was thirteen years old, fourteen years old, fifteen years old.

All through those teen years actually, I spent hours upon hours in my bedroom.

It was my little sanctuary.

And I spent just as much time decorating, arranging and rearranging things in there.

Don’t ask me what else I did because that I don’t actually remember! Diary, drawing, art…

Hmm, especially since it was the time well before Facebook and media!! Gosh!! What a thought hey.

Ancient! Hahaha

Anyhow, my idea of a fabulous bedroom was a wall full of pin up boys and men I thought were cute, a drum kit, my photographs

pinned around and all kinds of nick nacky junk that I loved.

Some of these dream bedroom would have made me swoon, some not so much. But I’ve collected some inspiration

just for the fun. Which one do you like?

Me? I’m all into the Boho.

X Cat

Hey ya’ll,

so I’m using the term senior portrait photographer Australia in this post because I’m wondering if that’s even a search term Aussies use?

We did this session just at the end of year, so his now a free agent. Fin. Done. On his way.

Oh what a feeling huh!

I got pretty excited when Jamal’s mum Cherie told me about the cape, adds a bit of fun to the session and I love that Jamal took what was dished and owned it! Hah! (The Black Jesus came up in the classroom and it stuck.)

Jamal, you crack me up!

I LOVE what this website offers.

Girl Talk

We aim to Inspire, Encourage, Entertain, Inform and Motivate young women to live their best life possible.
We scour the www to find stories of other global sisters who are doing amazing things in their world. Whether it be a celebrity passionate about a charity, a college graduate going into the heart of India to start a shelter for abused women, or simply the girl next door who spends her spare time sowing into the lives of others around her to help them in their time of need.

We believe true beauty is celebrated in all shapes and sizes and is formed by individuality and uniqueness.
Girl Talk HQ wants to break down the barriers and steretypes created by mass media, and show you that who you are is who you are meant to be, so make the most of your given journey in life.
Girl Talk HQ is your home, so please get comfortable, kick off your shoes, and be yourself!

About TED/TEDx

TED

TED is an annual event where some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about. “TED” stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design — three broad subject areas that are, collectively, shaping our future. And in fact, the event is broader still, showcasing ideas that matter in any discipline. Attendees have called it “the ultimate brain spa” and “a four-day journey into the future.” The diverse audience — CEOs, scientists, creatives, philanthropists — is almost as extraordinary as the speakers, who have included Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Frank Gehry, Paul Simon, Sir Richard Branson, Philippe Starck and Bono.

TED was first held in Monterey, California, in 1984. In 2001, Chris Anderson’s Sapling Foundation acquired TED from its founder, Richard Saul Wurman. In recent years, TED has expanded to include an international conference, TEDGlobal; media initiatives, including TED Talks and TED.com; and the TED Prize.

Follow TED on Twitter (twitter.com/TEDTalks), or on Facebook, (facebook.com/TED).

TED2014“The Next Chapter” will be held March 17 – 21, 2014, Vancouver, BC, Canada, with TEDActive, a simulcast conference of TED2014 in Whistler, BC, Canada. TEDGlobal 2014, “South” will be held October 6 – 10, 2014, in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.

TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self- organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*
