Funny fact.
You know my “I just want to be me” campaign. Maybe..probably not! Hahaha

Well, it was inspired by this Small Potatoes episode.

“I like being me because I have a really lovely family and because I like my taste and colours in clothes”

“I think my sisters special, there is only one of her. And, shes very special, because shes always nice to me.”

Super cute! Hahaha

Gowns of Elegance are a favorite FB page of mine, so of course I must share some of their gorgeous gowns!

Perfect for an elegant photographic session, to show off your glamorous side.. Oww, how fun to walk down a busy city street in one of these frocks.. or strike a pose at a luxurious motel… yes, yes I can imagine it now! Can you?

Or, just a lovely little boutique to visit when your searching for the perfect formal night dress.

I wish I had a special occasion coming up.. hmmm…

Life gets better by change

I found this thoughtful little post on an inspiring womens blog.

I think this is especially appropriate for the challenge of high school, and through uni… Nope, not just now, the whole way through your journey…

“You must constantly ask yourself these questions:

Who am I around?
What are they doing to me?
What have they got me reading?
What have they got me saying?
Where do they have me going?
What do they have me thinking?
And most important, what do they have me becoming?
Then ask yourself the big question: Is that okay?
Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.” ~ Jim Rohn

How I became an elephant, an inspiring adventure of a 14 yr old girl making a difference

Posted in Sites to see

Planning an overseas holiday? I am, and one of my first thoughts was – I want to see their wildlife.

Unfortunately, like most tourists I was attracted to the idea of actually riding an elephant – safari style.

How cool I thought. It all looked so appealing like this awesome adventure.

But it took some deeper thought to actually consider the experience from the elephants perspective, & soon I was questioning in my mind.

This site really helped.

Some traders are so sneaky they attach names like eco and conservation in their name. Don’t be fooled, if your riding on an elephants back, there’s probably something wrong.

I also found this movie trailer in my search for the truth.

What an inspiring 14 year old girl!! Be sure to watch the second video, an interview Juliette West. We love you girl!!!

Don’t know what to buy a friend for their birthday, how about sponsoring an elephant for only $75/yr.

Did you know they eat up 200kg of various foods per day. Help by shouting an Elly their lunch for only $10!

What a small cost to you, and a huge help to the amazing team at The Elephant Nature Park – Thailand.

You can make a difference, imagine if everyone did this even just once….

More animal lover volunteer trips HERE

Oh, and the Wildlife Friends of Thailand looks fantastic too.

A weekly post to inspire our guests on what they might like to wear for their unique photographic experience with The Grad Lab.

This weeks post was inspired by a cute little picture that lead me to finding one of the coolest accessory designers in the US of A.

Step out with something truly different, like one of their amazing headdresses and create dreamy styled imagery that you’ll love to show off.
